Jeremy 1 yr home

Learning to communicate, to grow in love and grace, to enjoy discovering God's handiwork in someone... family.

When we first brought Jeremy home he was:
shy and timid in new circumstances, fascinated with pictures, could never eat enough, liked all foods except fresh vegetables, could only understand a few words in English, had a tremendous fear of dogs, was scared of the water, was a GREAT helper (he was most secure when helping with a chore or job), had a short attention span, would stay by my side non stop, curious about EVERYTHING, wouldn't play with toys, loved to dance, when excited would jump up and down shouting at the top of his lungs (this was usually when we were going in the car somewhere), always spoke at 10 decibels higher than anyone else...

1 year later he:
likes talking people's ears off and regards new people as new friends, has moved up 2 clothes sizes, likes to eat but doesn't stuff his face, will now eat salad (although it's still not a favorite), loves swimming, speaks English well, loves his Izzy dog, likes wrestling with his brother and sister, plays soccer and basket ball all over the house, can put puzzles together and can identify most of his ABC's, his favorite place is the park so he can ride his bike (no training wheels anymore!), he's always ready for a hug and tickles, he's learning how to communicate feelings, now he only speaks 2 decibels higher  :), he usually gets in trouble because of his curiosity...he's learning to "think first", likes the companionship and help of his big sister and brother, his best friend is his cousin Edie, has a ton of extended family all around that he has bonded with, he really likes running (someday he wants "to be like Daddy and do a triathlon")...
